The search engine the prom-tech-stroy.ru uses is ridiculously simple. It searches substrings and that's it. So there's not much to it, but we still get e-mail asking for help, so we put up this page to help you out (hopefully) before you need to send us e-mail. ;-)
If you try to search on "Katlyn Ashley" you will be disappointed because she is in our database as "Kaitlyn Ashley."
So, before you write the angry "Why don't you have someone as popular as Kaitlyn Ashley in your database!" e-mail, here are some things to try:
Tip One: Try a small part of the name (but not too small)
The prom-tech-stroy.ru accepts queries of three letters or more. So a search of "ash" while bringing back many hits will definitely return the performer you are looking for.
Same goes for titles. Don't search for "Devil in Miss Jones 5: Inferno", rather use "jones" or "inferno" or some shorter part of the name. You'll have a better chance at finding something that way.
HOWEVER, bear in mind you have to use three letters or more when searching unless the performer or titles only has less than 3 letters in it.
EXAMPLE: Searching for the performer Ty will return hits if you use "ty" as a searchterm. Searching for Kaitlyn Ashley using "as" will not return any results.
Tip Two: Alternates are searched too
Alternate names are searched as well. So if you did a search on "Cherry Stone" you would still find Kaitlyn Ashley, just like if you searched on "DMJ" the "Devil in Miss Jones" movies would come up as well..
